Before I start can I ask that no-one take or post my photo's without permission please.

So it's pretty apparent to anyone reading my journal that  i have an abundence of adoration for Jensen Ackles, but way before Jensen arrived on the scene i had and still do have a crush on Joshua Jackson aka Pacey from Dawson's Creek/Peter from Fringe and a shedload of other movies, and as much as Jensen is my favourite, Josh is my longest running crush spanning just under half of my life!

So going to Vancouver (knowing they now film Fringe there) for the convention there was a small part of me that was daydreaming about spontaneously running into them filming and i'd get to meet him. So when i did the location tour on the Thursday, we ironically went past them setting up to film at Riverview hospital, to which my reaction earned me a certain amount of attention from Russ who declared me his favourite fan since i clearly should've been on a Fringe location tour lol. (Anyone on that tour bus knows exactly what im talking about!)

So i figured that was the closest i was getting ever, until the day after the convention when we were due to fly home, we got a tip on where they were filming in Burnaby and after a millisecond to make the call we decided to check it out. They filmed a bit at the duckpond in Central Park but we missed them probably by mere minutes.

Luckily found a lovely crew member cleaning up, whom i sorta poured my heart out to about how much i wanted to meet Josh, so he told me where they'd gone to next, which was only a few blocks away, and since he drove and we walked he got there first and enlisted the help of another PA and a trainee assistant director, who was more than happy to make someone's life dream come true if she could.
The only drawback was we had a plane to catch and i was debating how much time we had to wait, but she assured me if we could wait there was no reason he wouldn't come out after he'd had lunch (cos apparently he's dead nice like that!) So knowing id never get the chance again i held out, at which point I looked behind me to find Josh pacing up and down the parking lot on his phone, about 3 cars away from me, completely oblivious to our conversation, but after seeing him there was no way i was leaving without at least saying hi, suddenly getting on the plane home didn't seem important.

So we waited, and when he eventually had to go prepare for the scene they were filming our girl on the inside nearly dashed my hopes at the last minute, but then said we could walk and talk on the way to set with him, so i prepared myself to meet the guy ive had an enormous crush on for 12 years.
We were stood waiting for him to come out and as he was walking towards us, I was the only one in his eyeline, so I got this dazzling smile that almost floored me, but I held eye contact and smiled right back and he came over and shook everyone's hand and introduced himself, to which i just replied with 'hi' but actually thinking yeah I know who you are ive been stalking you all morning lol
So our girl tells him I could be missing my flight to do this and I think that kinda stunned him cos he just stared at me incredulously saying 'what a flight to england?' and then i got his arms around me before i knew what was happening and i just hugged him so hard, and what i remember is thinking hhmmm his neck is very warm lol
We all took photos with him, he clearly wasn't in any rush to get to set and stood and chatted with us for about 10 minutes.

So after taking photo's and chatting a bit, we told him about the convention and he was like I know Jensen, very cool guy, he suddenly turns to me and he's like 'I can't believe you might miss your flight just to be here, is there anything I can do to get you to the airport faster?' So I jokingly said 'you could call me a cab!' and like a millisecond later the phone was out and he was ordering a cab!
Listening to him speak on the phone with THAT voice was when i had a silent 'holy shit i cant believe im actually in front of him' moment.
He asked for one to the airport and i realised we had to go back downtown first, so from somewhere i suddenly had the courage to stroke his arm and tell him to say downtown instead, and then he was touching my arm asking my name for the cab driver. Yeah I did nearly die when he did that!

So he really had to do some work after that so we said our goodbyes and I got another hug and gave him a very heartfelt thankyou and told him how much I appreciated him meeting us. So we got to walk through set to get to the cab and watch them prepping for the scene, and then we were in the cab but so clearly not making in time for the flight, but I couldn't think of a better excuse to miss a flight for!

And since I had an extra 6 days in Vancouver to kill I enlisted the help of the original tip off informant to do some more stalking and we found out they were having the DVD launch party downtown that night so we staked out the club, with the sole mission of just telling Josh that I missed my flight. Didn't take long and he came out with some friends, but fell back and we took the opportunity to get his attention, at which point he turned and saw me and his first words were 'you missed your flight didn't you?' He was fairly astonished that I had to wait 6 days to fly out again and took blame for, and I quote, 'somewhat influencing my decision making'.

I have to say at this point he did something that pretty much floored me. He was texting on his phone whilst talking to us, but the whole time he was doing it and beyond, he had his hand on my shoulder AGAIN like in a way that he wanted me to know i still had his attention, and I was done after that and still have not recovered. We got more photos taken by his very willing friend that held back with him, who conveniently for us couldnt work out our camera's so we got some extra hugging time while he did :) and then we let him go and even though my friend wasn't a massive Josh fan before it, she does claim that as soon as he smiled at her she nearly forgot her own name.

I do have to say that he is quite possibly the nicest person I've ever met, celebrity or otherwise. He didn't have to take time out of his working day or his own time later on to stand and chat with us, and he certainly didn't need to call me a cab, but there was just something more about the way he was. How open and friendly he was when we were complete strangers, and how personable he is when he talks to you with the eye contact and the touching your arm, and considering how much i loved him before, my adoration has pretty much sky rocketed, and I gotta say when he hugs you, he really hugs you like he means it and considering how much it meant to me, that was pretty special.

Asylum 3 Photoshoots

  • Jun. 18th, 2009 at 9:34 PM

I know if anyone on my flist is like minded then you are not yet sick of seeing pictures from Asylum 3, so since none of my panel pics are better than any of the ones you've seen already I just thought Id share my photoshoots with y'all.

Ill start with my group shot, I have no idea what my theme was, I just recall Jensen shouting something as I sat down and then realised he was laughing hysterically. If anyone has any idea what my theme was feel free to comment!

Sam and Amy, who I never realised looked so much alike until I saw them next to each other lol

Matt and Amy, famous parents except most of us probbaly looked older than them lol

Me and Matt, had to absolutely go for a hug!

Me and Gabe, total cutie!

Me and Misha, funniest guy I've ever met!

Me and Jason, could he be any more of a sweetheart? Love this guy to bits!

Me and Jared part 1!

Part 2! Best blue steel ever!

Me and Jensen part 1, and yeah I do hate this picture but since he's the best thing in it i'm posting it.

Part 2 and I hate this one just as much!

Part 3 not much better lol

Moving onto sunday you can definately tell he is in a better mood lol

And the best of the bunch that was so worth the wait to get, that also spawned possibly my cutest Jensen convention moment, and is now my favourite convention photo of all time!

Also I have my J2 shot that was defaced by both the boys, can you guess who drew what on who???

Writer's Block: Theme Song

  • Apr. 16th, 2009 at 6:30 PM

What song would you choose as the theme song for your life?

View 501 Answers

Good question with so many possible answers, for me it changes depending on what kind of mood im in but right now i'd say a song called California Sunshine by Christa Black. Totally sums up how I feel about my life.

My convention/geek life has one song that perfectly epitomises my feelings when I am in front of Jensen, so is therefore my Jensen song.

Writer's Block: Been There, Done That

If you could live one day in your life over and over, which day would it be?

View 501 Answers

Sunday November 16th 2008.
For reference see my profile picture!

The day I told my favourite person in the whole world that he pretty much blows my mind and renders me speechless every time he's in front of me, and had one of those moments that maybe only last a few seconds, but in your world it feels like forever. A moment so perfect in every way that you could never recreate it if you tried, but you'd almost never want to just for fear of it falling short and ruining the memory.
I don't even need a whole day to relive, just that one minute was enough to convince me that there are little pieces of heaven on earth, and I had the pleasure of meeting one of them.

So I thought since it's Christmas, and it's a time to be thankful, I thought I would share all the things I was grateful and thankful for this past year. As I've gotten older I've realised I've become a lot less materialistic, been going down the Karma route the last couple of years and I truly believe what you give out, you get back in return, it may not always be in the way you think you should get it but karma has a funny way of suprising you when you least expect it.

So in no particular order or importance, these are a few of the things I was thankful for/ was proud of doing in the last 12 months.

I celebrated my 4 year annivesary with my boyfriend Dale, and we're still going strong.

I was promoted at work to a senior level, and still continue to love what I do and where I work.

I saw Westlife again for like the millionth time, but they will always put a smile on my face, they were the 1st proper concert I ever went to and Shane was my crush well into my twenties.

I saw Boyzone on their reunion tour, the 1st time i'd ever seen them all together since loving them from about age 14.

I saw Matchbox 20 twice from the front row, and not only was I lucky enough to meet the band before the 2nd show (dedication and waiting all day gets results) I actually had the guts to ask Rob Thomas for a hug and got one (anyone who knows how much I like Rob Thomas knows that was no easy question lol!

I saw Bon Jovi for the 3rd time (my favourite band on the planet!) I was closer than I'd ever been before (about 10 people away from the front) and he sung Always. They never sing Always live anymore, and it's not only my favourite Bon Jovi song, it's one of my favourite songs of all time and the reason I started listening to them 15 years ago.

I went to my 2nd Supernatural convention and had a fab time, pictures are in a previous post if anyone hasn't seen them.
I went to my 3rd Supernatural convention, which was also my 1st American convention, in Chicago, so I got an awesome vacation out of it, including seeing one of my best frinds who I hadn't seen for two years, going up the Sears Tower (tallest building in North America/3rd tallest building in the world)

Had the pleasure of seeing Jason, Riley and hank again, and I finally got to meet Steve too.

Finally met Jared Padalecki!!!! Saw the boys from the front row and if I wasn't such a die hard Jensen girl, meeting Jared in the flesh is enough to make up the mind of anyone who can't decide between them!

Lastly but without a doubt the most important thing, I met Jensen Ackles again. I can't even put into words how it feels to be in the same room as him so I won't even try. The thing I am definately most proud of myself for doing was holding my ground in the autograph line and telling him how amazing I think he is, and his reaction will continue to make me smile every time I remember it :)
I want that moment to be my groundhog day, but at the same time if I'm not lucky enough to meet him again, then I'm happy that I told one of my favourite people on the entire planet just how I feel about him, and compared to last year when I couldn't even remember my own name around him that was pretty good for me to say the least.

He actually is the most beautiful boy on the planet and to me he is perfect and I will continue to try and meet him as many times as I possibly can because you can never have too much of a good thing!

Hope everyone reading this has very happy holidays, and takes the time to think back on your past year and be thankful for the things that made you happy :) xxx

Asylum 2/Jason+Riley tour

  • Jun. 14th, 2008 at 10:08 PM

Asylum 2 was awesome and I could write a really long post here but to cut a really long story short I'm just gonna recount my favourite moments.

Seeing all the friends we made last year who we really missed, and having the opportunity to make more new friends.

Travis Wester. Anytime this guy was on stage I was laughing, he was absolutely hilarious, I found a new crush in Travis and he probably realised after all my huggy photoshoots with him. Was in his saturday coffee lounge and suprised myself by how much I actually spoke to him, since I went in thinking I was not gonna even be able to speak in front of him. Think the coffee lounge was my favourite part of the weekend along with the extra autographs me and

[info]motleyangel

got that had us in hysterics in the queue.

AJ Buckley. What a complete sweetheart this guy is! came straight off the set of CSI to spend one day with us and manage to do photo's and autographs with everyone in the one day when everyone else had two. Loved him on stage with Travis aswell, they were hysterical together

Samantha Ferris and Chad Lindberg panel, Chad trying on wigs was hilarious, Samantha was fantastic. She came straight off a plane and into her panel, then straight into her photoshoot and autograph session without even batting an eyelid. She rocked! And I got them both to do blue steel!

Jason's performance on the saturday night, anyone who knows me will tell you that when Jason is onstage you will find me at the front and this time was no exception. I found it highly amusing that he thought we were too far away so he told us to get closer and we were all sat in front of him like primary school children.
I had seen Jason the wednesday before in London and knowing I was gonna be following him round the week after, I asked if he would sing my favourite song of his 'Without You' at some point during that week, so you can imagine my fangirl squee when he sang it at Asylum. Saw me singing along and filming about two people back and grinned at me. I thanked him later on, when he then proceeded to make my crush even worse by telling me he'd sung it just for me. Think I am slightly in love with Jason!

Was awful having to say goodbye to everyone, but I still had Jason, Riley and Hank to look forward to for a week.
I was really looking forward to seeing Riley and Hank again since I'd not seen them since November. Monday's gig was in Solihull. It had a really intimate atmostphere, was a really nice night. Got Riley's new cd and I got my J+J cd signed and my Jason photo from Asylum signed. Was also Steve's last night and he sung my favourite song so I was happy I got to hear it live. Funniest moment: Riley falling off his stool yet still playing his guitar. Was a really nice way to end Asylum weekend and I didn't even care that I had to go back to work the next day.

Tuesday was spent at willing time to go faster and recounting my weekend to anyone who would listen, then straight to Manchester for the next gig. Tuesday was the day I converted my boyfriend Dale from Linkin Park to Jason and Riley. He thought they were pretty cool, liked Riley's music slightly more but thought Jason was a cool guy when he chatted to him later on. Couldn't go to Cambridge on the wednesday due to that annoying thing called work, when I told Jason this he was completely adorable and said he was sad I wouldn't be there (only making my crush worse!) so I got an extra long hug to make up for wednesday.

Friday was Bristol which meant we got to see Kate and Jas again. Being full tour ticket holders we also got to watch the soundcheck that night and get our picture taken on stage with guys which they all then signed.

This was my favourite gig because instaed of doing seperate sets, all the guys sung together, so we got some new stuff aswell as some old stuff. Kudos had to go out to Jason that night who was feeling a bit poorly but powered through it to entertain us. Funniest moment: Me and Kate trying to teach Jason some Bristol/Scottish and Yorkshire slang and him telling her she had a 'wonky accent',  highly amusing conversation.

Saturday was London and probably the busiest gig. The coolest bit was the encore when all 3 guys got on stage and sang a few more songs for the hardcore fans that stuck around. Most adorable moment: Jason getting Lexie on stage to help him sing 'Drift Away' and she totally nailed it.

Sunday was London again but this time we were let into the bar a bit earlier and we had a barbecue and the guys were there before they went on stage to chat and hang out. Kate and jas were over from Bristol and it was a really nice way to end the tour. Was sad knowing it was the last night but not knowing when we'd see them again. They all sang 'Drift away' again for the finale and riley called his mum so she could hear us all singing along, that was a totally awesome moment.

Had spent all week getting cuddles from Jason and not really getting any more pics so since it was the last night I made sure I got another one, and of course it had to be a huggy picture.

So that was it, the end of the tour, went back to work with post holiday blues, wishing I'd been on the plane to America with the guys. Can't wait for next year!

Who was the last person who really made you mad?

View 500 Answers

The last person to really make me mad (and still ongoing) was one of my best friends, it hurts when you find out someone you love doesn't trust you enough to tell you the truth and holds so little regard for your friendship that they can abandon you at the last minute when they know something is very important to you.

What are you most looking forward to this weekend?

View 501 Answers

What I'm most looking forward to this weekend is watching the new Supernatural episode, I just finished it and I loved it, it's rare that I don't love an episode, or anything that allows me to stare at Jensen Ackles for a solid 40 minutes, but I really loved it. Harry and Ed are hilarious and I now can't wait to meet AJ Buckley at Asylum. Of course Jensen looked hot as hell but when does he not!

What have you lost that you wish you still had?

View 500 Answers

The memory of Jensen's smell when I met him, and how it actually felt to have his arm around me because I was way too caught up having a fangirl moment in my head to take in the awesomeness.

When was the last time you surprised yourself?

View 481 Answers

The last time I surprised myself was probably Friday when I had my annual appraisal at work, and I thought it was gonna be a bit rubbish but actually It was pretty good cos I'd been doing really well and not realised it :)

My awesome weekend

  • Nov. 25th, 2007 at 12:52 AM

Hey guys, know its been a while since I last posted just didn't have a lot to write about until last weekend which was without exaggeration the second best weekend of my year so far, see above picture for the best weekend, not just of the year, but of my life!. Last  Friday night my friend Diane and I set off to Manchester in anticipation of seeing Jason Manns and Riley Smith and they did not disappoint. We were having a drink in the bar as they walked in and I have to admit to a bit of a fangirl moment in my head when they walked past me, not so much Jason because i've met him before at the Asylum convention but Riley was every bit as gorgeous as I expected. Well I managed to get both my new Jason and Riley cd's signed and had pictures with them both, so that took the shiny off them a bit when I realised they were easy to chat to. So they did their thing on stage and were brill and we headed back home knowing we were coming back for a their second gig in Manchester the next night. So we after the longest day at work ever we headed back to Manchester to a different venue but we got lost and we ended up getting there halfway through Riley's set although he was singing my favourite song (feel for you, which I had requested from him the night before), as we walked in. We said hi to Jason as we came in and then he was off on stage doin his thing. Both gigs had this really cool intimate feeling to them like just a guy with his guitar strumming and it felt so personal, it was lovely to see both those guys with that kind of atmostphere. We could stay a bit later that night and we must've hung around for another hour or so just having a chat with other fans, the organizers and best of all Jason and Riley. Got them both to say happy birthday to my friend Diane aswell and they were so cute about it. Best bit for me was just getting to sit and chat to Jason, just me and him for a bit which was lovely and got a big hug off them both aswell.
Sunday couldn't top that but it came close. Me and some friends ventured back to Manchester for Collectormania at the GMEX where I met James Marsters (Spike from Buffy the vampire slayer) and Adrian Pasdar (Nathan from Heroes). I got Adrians autograph and he was lovely but I was there for James and I had a fangirl moment having my picture taken with him as he just gave me a massive hug and he gives really nice hugs, making me tingly just remembering it. I met him properly a bit later to get his autograph and my friend that was with me hadn't heard his american accent before so when he spoke she freaked a bit and he looked suprised so I told him why and before we could blink he turned into Spike right then and there and chatted to us as Spike, it was awesome. For anyone who doesn't know, James Marsters is so freakin cool, even my boyfriend, who is so not into anything like that was actually excited to meet him. He just exudes sex appeal, he's awesome! So that was my cool weekend, just counting down till I see Jason again in Brighton next  Feb then Asylum in May, can't wait! Hope you enjoyed hearing about my weekend, feel free to comment x

My first entry

  • Oct. 19th, 2007 at 12:06 AM

Just wanted to say hello to everyone on live journal. I just joined and this is my first post so I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Angela and I live in leeds where I work as a hairdresser. As anyone looking at my profile pic can probably tell im a rather large fan of the divine Jensen Ackles and I love Supernatural. I have love for Jared Padalecki too but Jensen is the most beautiful boy on the planet with a smile that gets you at twenty paces. My pic is from the Asylum convention last may and im currently counting down to next years convention, only 6 and a half months to go.
I also enjoy some other tv shows including Smallville, Heroes, Lost, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, America's next top model etc etc.
Also enjoy going to the movies, looking forward to watching Stardust tomorrow, and im really into my music right now, currently listening to Colbie Caillat, she's dead mellow and totally awesome. I like quite rocky stuff usually like Bon Jovi, Matchbox 20, Daughtry, Avril Lavigne, Three doors down and I also like more accoustic mellow stuff like Lifehouse, Jason Manns, Steve Carlson.
So thats a little bit about me, hope I didnt ramble on for too long. Im happy to talk to anyone especially anyone with a mutual love of Jensen or Supernatural. Thanks for reading, bye for now x
